Gilles Erulin
Gilles founded Westwick in 2013 after 26 years inside Financière Pinault / Artémis, the single family office of the Pinault family. He joined the family office at its inception and carried, across three decades, the full range of work that a well-run SFO confronts — acquiring and exiting businesses, turning around challenging portfolio assets, running high-stakes litigations and settlements, and, finally, accompanying the family through a generational transition while preserving the vision, values and standards of execution the family had set from the start.
His view on the family office profession is drawn from those years: the decisive work is done by people who sit inside the decision, not outside it. Westwick was built to offer families that same posture — a small, discreet, action-oriented bench they can call when the mandate exceeds what their own office can carry.
Gilles writes and speaks regularly on family office strategy, governance and intergenerational wealth. His work has been featured by PwC, WealthBriefing and others. He is based between Lisbon and London, and works across Europe and the United States.
Work with Westwick.
We take on a small number of mandates each year. If your family is approaching a transition — generational, structural, or strategic — we would be glad to hear from you. Conversations with Westwick are strictly confidential. They commit the family to nothing — and us to discretion. When we cannot help, we will refer the family to someone who will.
