Isabelle Irani
Isabelle joined Westwick as a partner in 2025. She brings more than two decades of experience at the interface between large industrial families and the institutions that serve them, including eight years inside the Mittal family office. She and Gilles first met in 2008 — on opposite sides of the table, he representing the Pinault family, she the Mittal family, in a single complex transaction conducted in a difficult liquidity environment. They have collaborated repeatedly since.
Isabelle is also a recognised expert in impact investing. She is the founder of Sumerian Partners, the impact-investing firm that today accompanies a number of European principal families.
At Westwick, Isabelle leads the partnership's "taking back control" mandates. When something the family owns has slipped from its grip — a board seat, a direct investment, an external mandate, a private-banking setup that has stopped serving the family — Isabelle sits on the family's side, leads the difficult conversations with the parties involved, and restores decision rights to the family in a way that holds for the future.
She is based in London.
